Since 2015, more than 5.1 km of village roads in Tan Lap have been completely concreted with the contribution of over VND1.4 billion from the local people. Thanks to that, many households have made efforts to develop their economy and get out of poverty.

Along with livestock development, in recent years, people in Tan Lap have also focused on expanding the area of fruit trees such as pomelo, custard apple, etc.
For example, the family of Truong Thi Thuy and Truong Van Viet were formerly poor households of the village. In 2015, they boldly improved the garden land, planted 50 pomelo trees. The average annual profit was over VND150 million. Up to now, they have built a new and spacious house and escaped the poverty.
Thanks to the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels as well as the efforts of the local people, the life of Tan Lap resident has improved day by day. The movement of "Farmers emulate good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" has spread, creating encouragement in labour and production emulation. Many households have innovated their way of thinking and doing, thereby creating a stable income, becoming a shining example in economic development.
