Lotus season in Na Ban

TQO - Na Ban village, Thuong Lam commune (Lam Binh), is home to the Tay ethnic community, known for their long-standing tradition of wet rice cultivation. In recent years, the local authorities have constructed a dam through the village to store water for agricultural purposes, forming a large ecological lake. Therefore, Na Ban Village Women's Union has mobilized nearly 60 members to plant lotus in the lake, transforming the area into a picturesque destination for visitors and photographers.

With an entrance fee of VND 10,000 per visitor, combined with income from selling lotus flowers, seeds, and leaves, Na Ban Village Women’s Union earns approximately VND 10 million each lotus season, showcasing an effective model for both tourism and local economic development.
