Ancient old apple tree in Son Duong recognised as heritage tree

TQO - The Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) has presented a certificate to recognise an ancient gold apple tree at Hop Thanh commune, Son Duong district as heritage tree of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the tree is located in the garden of Mr. Ha Trung Kien's family, Tram village, Hop Thanh commune.

The tree is over 350 years old with a base circumference of 5.1m.

The tree plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, contributing to creating green landscapes and raising public awareness about nature protection.
