Ripe chili season in Na Hang

TQO - In these days of June, people in Ban Bung hamlet, Thanh Tuong commune (Na Hang) harvest chilies in a hasty and eager manner. With an area of ​​over 2 hectares, chili plants are the main crop of local people, bringing high economic value. The 2025 crop is looking to be a fruitful season for chili farmers, with an average selling price of VND15,000 per kg.

Mrs. Dang Thi Pham's family, Ban Bung village, planted 2,000m2 of chili this year, earning nearly VND10 million.

Some early-maturing chili plants are starting to produce fruit for the upcoming harvest.

Chilies grown in Ban Bung are considered to be of high quality, with large fruits, few seeds, and an attractive appearance.

Mrs. Trieu Thi Sech's family (left), from Ban Bung village, owns a sloping plot of land that is not very productive but is highly suitable for growing chilies.

All chilies harvested by the people of Ban Bung Village are consumed by Tam Huong Cooperative at a fixed price of VND15,000 per kilogram.

Agricultural products from Ban Bung are transported to Tam Huong Cooperative and distributed to downstream markets.
