The commune has promoted the organic rice production model (clean rice) in 5 hamlets. Minh Thanh's rice products are registered with La Khai brand and have been recognised as an OCOP product of the province.
Especially, poverty reduction is the most important achievement of local authorities and the people in Minh Thanh Commune over the past time. After 5 years of implementing the poverty reduction target programme, by the end of 2020, the poor ratio of the commune was estimated at 6.21%, an average reduction of 8.1% per year.
