The country is implementing the construction of 28 projects and component projects of expressway with a plan to complete in 2025 with a total length of about 1,188 km. The Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers have paid attention and spent a lot of time and effort directing ministries and branches to coordinate in removing obstacles related to mechanisms and procedures; directing localities to speed up the progress of site clearance, solving procedures for granting mines; directing investors to speed up the progress, paying attention to quality assurance.

Before this meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the entire route. The project has a total of 7 construction packages, with more than 90 construction teams deployed so far; the total number of machinery and equipment on the route is nearly 660 pieces of equipment. The total cumulative implementation value is VND1,467/4,789 billion, reaching 30.62% of the contract value, 4.36% behind the contract according to the project schedule.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has given very specific instructions to Ham Yen, Yen Son districts and relevant agencies on site clearance, speeding up the construction progress of resettlement areas; urgently completing procedures for granting Land Use Rights Certificates to households; ensuring items and conditions for people to build houses; resolving issues related to materials such as fill soil, waste dumping, and construction stone materials to remove difficulties for businesses.

Speaking at an online meeting organized by the Government Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son expressed his determination to resolve existing problems, difficulties, and obstacles, and hand over the remaining 550 m to the contractor before April 5, 2025. The material problems have been resolved by the province to ensure that the contractors' needs are met.

The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project is the province's political determination to promote socio-economic development. This is a national key project that the National Assembly, the Government, and provincial leaders pay great attention to and regularly urge. The Provincial People's Committee has launched a competition to complete the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project in response to the Government's peak competition "500 days and nights of competition to complete 3,000 km of expressway" to mobilize the strength of the entire political system, organizations, individuals, and people of all walks of life in the province to compete to complete the work related to the project.

The deadline for handing over the site to the contractor is only from now until the end of the week. In order to not delay the committed progress, it is necessary to properly implement the Prime Minister's directive. Localities must mobilize the entire political system to participate, especially in site clearance; speed up the licensing of construction material exploitation to facilitate contractors; directly and regularly pay attention to and encourage workers to participate in projects in the locality; urge the progress of project implementation, ensure completion on schedule, ensure quality, and prevent negative corruption.
