A concrete road in Cao Binh Hamlet has been built by the communal police force and local people.
Before being replaced to concrete roads, all the roads in Cao Binh Hamlet was dirt roads, which was dusty and slippery. In addition to difficult transportation, before 2017, Cao Binh Hamlet did not access to electricity, 90% households of the village were poor or near-poor households. The living standards of local people was difficult.
In 2021, Cao Binh registered to build concrete 3 road routes with a total length of 1,320 m. Within only 1 month of implementation, the hamlet has mobilised people to donate more than 7,000 m2 of garden land and field land in order to expand roads, and completed 300 m concrete rural roads.
Ma Van Sanh, a local people in Cao Binh Hamlet, said his family's living standard was also difficult, but when the commune authorities called for contribution, he volunteered to donate more than 500 m2 of garden land without compensation requirement.
To date, along with 6 km of concrete inter-village road, the hamlet have accessed to national electricity grid. Many culture houses, kindergartens and primary schools in the locality have been invested and constructed.
Thanks to the concrete roads to the hamlet, local households have boldly changed the structure of crops and livestock. The farmers have developed models of concentrated peanut growing areas and accelerated to raise black pigs, cows and buffaloes. Many new plant varieties have been put into production such as biomass corn, crispy persimmon, and 'bat do' bamboo shoot, etc.
The whole hamlet now has only about ten poor households. The living standards of the locals has been improved.
