The key task of the commune is to enhance business activities among hamlets in order to improve locals’ incomes. Thereby, the commune has satisfied key criteria such as the locale’s income and poverty rate.
In 2020, the commune has striven to fulfill 6 criteria, including environment, schools, cultural facilities, information and communication, transportation and residential houses.
The health station of Minh Dan Commune was rebuilt to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of locals.
The local authorities have established self-governing groups to protect the environment in residential areas while mobilizing people to carry out waste treatment at home. The People’s Committee of the commune has also assigned the Youth Union to implement a program called “Thap Sang Duong Que” (Lighting up the countryside’s roads).
Thanks to financial funding from the State, Minh Dan commune has built 10 classrooms at the secondary school and 8 classrooms at the primary school. In addition, the commune’s cultural house was upgraded and a new culture house was constructed.
The People’s Committee of the commune has also planned to build roads linking hamlets. To date, the commune has concreted more than 22km of roads. 72.7% of canals have been concreted. The commune’s health station has been rebuilt to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of locals.
The economic models have been expanded and 5 cooperative groups to raise chickens, fish and pigs have been established, contributing to boosting the incomes of people with an average annual income per capita of VND31 million.
