Following the direction of the Ministry of Health, the centre has asked health stations in the communes and towns to review and synthesize the lists of the elderly and people with many complex background diseases.

As a result, the health stations have assessed and classified the health status of the elderly as well as collecting their phone numbers, or that of their caregivers, to  establish management dossiers. Thus, the stations have provided their phone numbers while using information from NCOVI application (universal health declaration) and health insurance data.

In addition, the local authorities have developed plans for the prevention and control of infections and the improvement of health for the elderly and people suffering from chronic diseases; as well as to periodically offer medicines to all patients.

Thanks to effective communications, the elderly in the district is fully and properly aware of the dangers of the Covid-19 epidemic.
