After completing the new-style rural building programme in 2018, Phuc Ninh Commune, Yen Son District, has continued to launch the emulation movement on building new-style rural area and cultural life.

Currently, the commune possesses a five-kilometre flower road and a five-kilometre light road which were built by the local people. The commune continues to effectively maintain two clubs on promoting and preserving Dao ethnic cultural identities, along with one dancing club. The cultural, arts and sports movements have been developed in the hamlets.
Phu Luu Commune, Ham Yen District, has been striving to meet new-style rural criteria in 2020. With the support of the local authorities and organisations at all levels, as well as the efforts of the people, 34 out of 35 temporary houses have been removed. The commune has completed 13 out of 19 new-style rural criteria. Many difficult criteria such as environment and culture have been completed by the local authorities.
The highest goal of the new-style rural building programme is building local people's lives more prosperous. Therefore, people are the subjects to build a modern cultural life as well as preserving the traditional cultural identities of each ethnic group and each locality.
