Enhancing the building of cultural life in Yen Son District

TQO - The movement “All people unite to build cultural life” in Yen Son District has recently achieved remarkable results.

The district has now 23,179 cultural families, accounting for 93% of the total. Many typical hamlets have been honoured as cultural residential areas for several years such as An Thinh (Nhu Han Commune), Tan Son (Chan Son Commune), and Chanh 1 (Thai Binh Commune) hamlets.

People in Trung Mon Commune, Yen Son District regularly participate in physical exercise and sport movements among the community.

In 2019, Thai Binh Commune was recognised as a new-style rural area. The commune regularly holds a range of art and sport exchange activities among villages to attract local participation. There no longer any poor households in the commune and 100% of villages will have standard cultural houses from 2020.

Over the past 5 years, Yen Son District has mobilised over VND115 billion for the construction of cultural projects. To date, 25 out of 28 communes in the district have built cultural houses while 271 out of 355 hamlets have cultural houses and sport areas.

In order to further develop the movement "All people unite to build cultural life", the district will continue to strengthen communication in the coming time. In addition, district authorities will renew the movement’s content in accordance with the specific situation in each locality and unit as well as mobilising the socialisation of cultural, art, and sport activities, contributing to improving locals’ spiritual life.
