Pac Cap promotes tourism potential

TQO - Pac Cap Hamlet in Phu Luu Commune, Ham Yen District - a region with rich soil, cool climate at the foot of Cham Chu Mountain range, is a favourable condition for the development of various types of tourism.

Pac Cap Hamlet has 5 households, with 319 people. The hamlet has 7 ethnic groups living together, creating a rich culture for Pac Cap such as house architecture, costumes, traditional festivals, etc.

The whole hamlet possesses 35 stilt houses, of which 15 ancient wooden stilt houses were built between 40 and 60 years old, the rest are stylized and renovated.

Currently, local people in the locality have preserved these houses. They often clean the house campus and plant more flowers and trees in order to welcome tourists from all over the world to visit and experience.

Ma Hec Waterfall flows from the top of Cham Chu Mountain to supply lean water for daily life of local people in 4 villages of Phu Luu Commune: Thom Tau, Pa Han, Ban Ban and Pac Cap. Ma Hec Waterfall brings the hidden, pristine beauty, along with the purity and freshness of the Cham Chu Mountains and forests. Currently, the district has planned to build water wheels and "Check-in" points, as well as organize entertainment activities and services to serve tourists in the area of ​​Ma Hec Waterfall.

With the goal of developing Pac Cap Hamlet into a community tourism destination imbued with the cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group in association with exploiting and promoting the scenic system for tourism development, in December 2021, the People's Committee of Ham Yen District issued a project of building a cultural village of ethnic minorities in Pac Cap village with a budget of nearly VND46 billion to implement the project.

In the near future, Pac Cap is expected to be an interesting and attractive destination for tourist experience.
