Tuyen Quang implements projects to support poor households

TQO - The Provincial People's Committee has just approved a list of villages with a large concentration of ethnic minorities with specific difficulties and a high rate of poor households to be supported in investing in construction, upgrading, renovating and repairing infrastructure according to Subproject 1 of Project 9 of the National Target Program.

Accordingly, six villages were supported, including: Thuong Minh village, Hong Quang commune (Lam Binh); Na Luong village and Khuoi Hop village, Linh Phu commune (Chiem Hoa); Dong Cuom village, Trung Son commune and Tan Minh village, Dong Pha village, Kien Thiet commune (Yen Son).

The project's goal is to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty quickly and sustainably, improve the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities, and narrow the gap in living standards and income compared to other areas.

Phuong Dong
