Joining hands to build a warm home for children

TQO - The Happy Houses and Red Scarf Houses of the Youth Union Councils at all levels in Tuyen Quang province have been giving strength and helping the team members in difficult circumstances to be more confident on their way to school.

The family of Nong Duc Kien, Da Vi commune (Na Hang) received support to build a Happy House.

Comrade Pham Thi Kieu Trang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, said that the program of building houses for team members and children in difficult circumstances has been implemented for many years. The houses bring happiness and great encouragement to many students in the province.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Youth Union Councils at all levels in the province have built 3 Happy Houses with a total value of VND240 million, 9 Red Scarf Houses with a total value of VND450 million.

Each house is built within a period of 3 to 6 months.

Most of the houses are built in a new design, with 1 floor and a large surrounding area, very convenient for living.

The Red Scarf Houses and Happy Houses are not only places to live, but they have become a companion for disadvantaged children to confidently step into the future.
