Delegates at the meeting heard reports by the Provincial People's Committee and other sectors, as well as relevant committees under the Provincial People's Council, reporting on the results of resolution of voters' petitions and recommendations before and after the eight session. They also listened to other monitoring reports and passed concerned draft resolutions, while discussing socio-economic development tasks in 2019 and 2020. A Q&A session was also held at the sitting.

An overview of the meeting.

In order to successfully implement the Government's resolutions, Tuyen Quang has targeted to continue to renovate its operating methods, effectively promote the agro-forestry commodity production development, and encourage investment in the fields of agriculture and rural area development. The province will speed up progress of the approved industrial production projects in 2019, implement budget estimates in 2020 from the beginning of the year, and exploit budget revenue, as well as strengthening the State management over land, natural resources and environment. It will also pay attention to increasing investment in tourism development, improve the efficiency of citizen reception and settle complaints and denunciations, with a focus on definitively settling newly arising and prolonged unsettled complaints and denunciations and other complicated cases.
