The San Diu people in Tuyen Quang preserve their traditional cultural identities

TQO - The traditional cultural identity preservation clubs of the San Diu people in Ninh Lai Commune, Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province have helped the young generation gain more knowledge of their ethnic traditional features and costumes.

The establishment of clubs to preserve traditional cultural identity has attracted a large number of young people to join. The clubs have become a common home for children to promote the spirit of community activities. In the clubs, the children are taught to sing Soong Co songs or make traditional costumes by mothers and grandmothers. Therefore, it has aroused a sense of preserving the traditional culture in the young generation.

Children are taught how to make their traditional costumes at the San Diu ethnic cultural preservation club in Hoang Tan cluster of 3 villages of  Cay Da 1, Cay Da 2 and Hoang Tan in Ninh Lai Commune.

A lesson of making fringe on traditional clothing.

In addition to being taught how to make traditional costumes, children also learn the San Diu language and writing taught by reputable people.

Children are innocent and graceful in their ethnic traditional costumes.
