Supporting Tuyen Quang youths in highland areas to start up

TQO - To fulfill the dreams of young people, the Bank for Social Policies' capital is considered a "support" to help them, especially in disadvantaged areas.

With the preferential capital of the Bank for Social Policies, Nong Van Trieu from Phuc Linh village, Tan Thinh commune (Chiem Hoa) starts up from afforestation.

Director of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Nguyen Phan Vy, said that over the past time, policy credit entrustment activities in the province have been promoted effectively, providing more resources for beneficiaries, including union members and young people participating in entrepreneurship.

As of March 15, the total entrusted loan balance managed by the Provincial Youth Union was VND754 billion with 784 loan savings groups and over 15,000 borrowers.

Head of Movement Board, Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Manh Cuong shared that, in order to support young people, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has promoted the organization of communication activities about entrepreneurship, startup ecosystem, contributing to encouraging the legitimate enrichment needs of young people.

Currently, the Provincial Youth Union is entrusted by the Secretariat of the Central Youth Union to borrow loans from the National Fund for Job Creation (capital source 120) over VND2.1 billion. The Provincial People's Committee entrusted to the Provincial Bank for Social Policies with the amount of VND9 billion from 197 loan projects. These loans have helped many union members and young people, especially those in the highlands, have conditions to develop livestock, farming, and service industries.
