Before Tuyen Quang town was recognized as a city, most of the roads and streets did not have names or signposts to branch routes, alleys, or corners. Town residents at that time identified streets and routes through certain characteristics. However, when recognized as a grade 3 urban area, Tuyen Quang city began naming each street, route and alley. Houses began to have numbers, streets had names, and people felt a sense of pride.
However, over time and through many times of renovating and upgrading road and street surfaces, it has affected the signposts and nameplates of roads and streets, but they still do not receive attention from functional agencies and local authorities. Typically, on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, Minh Xuan ward (Tuyen Quang city), some signs indicating tonnage, alleys, and street names have been tarnished, obscured, and look very offensive. Repairing or renewing these signs does not cost much and requires the attention of the authorities.
