Workers in Minh Huong commune (Ham Yen) are introduced to jobs at companies and industrial parks in the province.
According to the review results in 2022, Tuyen Quang province has 40,522 poor households, accounting for 18.9%. In 2023, the province is expected to reduce by 3.51% of poor households.
The national target program for sustainable poverty reduction 2023 has been implemented with 7 projects, with a total budget of over VND230.7 billion. Projects include: Supporting for investment in socio-economic infrastructure development in poor districts and communes with special difficulties; Diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models; Supporting production development, improving nutrition; Developing vocational education and sustainable employment; Supporting houses for poor and near-poor households in poor districts; Communication and information poverty reduction; Improving program implementation capacity.
In addition, all levels and agencies also synchronously implemented many solutions such as enhancing investment attraction, encouraging the development of business and service models, creating jobs to increase people's income; promoting consulting and job introduction activities for employees; creating livelihoods for people through preferential loan programs; effectively implementing the project on eradicating temporary and dilapidated houses, creating motivation for the poor to settle down, striving to rise up in life, etc.
