Annually, the agency organizes a review on the development of social insurance participants to clearly identify advantages and disadvantages, and replicate the units and individuals that have come up with active solutions in gathering participants.

In addition, the agency has actively coordinated with the District Post Office, Farmers’ Association, Women’s Union and Youth Union to organize customer meetings in communes, villages and hamlets. At the events, local people are encouraged to apply for voluntary social insurance.

The Ham Yen District People’s Committee has developed a plan to accelerate communication about voluntary social insurance via many effective methods. The locality has worked to strengthen the efficiency of administrative processes as well as improving the quality of medical examinations and treatment.

In 2019, there were a total of 1,037 people participating in voluntary social insurance across the district, meeting 166% of the assigned plan. The figure increased to 1,119 in the first four months of 2020, making Ham Yen stand out as the district with the highest rate of social insurance participation in Tuyen Quang province.

Currently, Ham Yen District Social Security is continuing to diversify its forms of communication to help people fully understand their rights and obligations when participating in voluntary social insurance.
