After Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on Population work in the new situation, Tuyen Quang province issued many comprehensive directives on population work.

Accordingly, the province has effectively implemented the Program to expand screening, diagnosis, and treatment of some prenatal and neonatal diseases and disabilities; established a Pre-marital Health Examination and Counseling Club, and provided health examination consultation for adolescents and young people in districts and cities.

At the same time, the province has diversified forms of propaganda about the consequences of early marriage, incestuous marriage, pre-natal sex selection, etc., which has changed people's awareness and actions on this issue, contributing to improving population quality.

The nutritional quality of each meal of the people has been improved, especially the diet of young children starting from kindergarten has received special attention.

"Investing in population work is investing in sustainable development" needs to thoroughly resolve the above issues so that the population is truly a resource, a "treasure" for sustainable development of the homeland and the country.
