Officials and members of the Farmers' Association support the family of Mr. Then Van Duc, Ngoi Cai village, Tien Bo commune (Yen Son) to build a new house.

Implementing the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province, period 2021 - 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association has issued a plan, concretizing the contents of the Project and identifying this as a key and breakthrough task of the Farmers' Association at all levels, period 2021 - 2025 to focus on directing and organizing implementation.

Every year, the Association assigns targets to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses and help farmer households escape poverty for the association's grassroots level. This is also one of the criteria for evaluating and classifying associations at all levels annually.

The Provincial Farmers' Association has coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to direct associations at all levels to review and classify poor households as farmer members living in temporary, dilapidated houses; sign a cooperation program with the Provincial Red Cross for the period 2021 - 2025; build a "Farmer's Shelter" Fund to support poor members in building houses.

With the motto: "Households do it themselves, the State supports, the community helps", associations at all levels have promoted propaganda to mobilize funds, labor days, construction materials to support poor farmer members in building houses; mobilize poor farmer members to proactively match funds and materials to build houses.

In addition to supporting housing construction, the Farmers' Association integrates policies, effectively utilizes resources to support farmer members, such as capital, plants, seeds, etc., to help them have conditions for economic development. At the same time, well implement patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement of Good Farmers in Production and Business, Uniting to Help Each Other Get Rich and Sustainable Poverty Reduction.

With many approaches, the program to support the construction of "Farmers' Shelters" has achieved many positive results. From 2021 to now, the Association at all levels in the province has mobilized members and farmers to support nearly 28,730 working days; construction materials equivalent to nearly VND3 billion and VND140 million in cash to support the construction of 1,673 new houses and repair 473 houses for poor farmers in the province.

In addition, officials and members of the Association of Farmers in the whole province have contributed and supported the "Farmers' Shelters" Fund with over VND967 million. From the fund, the Association at all levels has supported the construction and repair of 29 shelters for poor farmers, worth VND860 million. In 2024, the Association at all levels supported the construction and repair of 6 shelters for poor farmers. The total value of support was VND275 million. The "Farmer's Shelter" program has practical significance, arousing the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, and mutual assistance among the Association at all levels.
