Educating the Army's traditions through experiential activities

TQO - On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, schools and educational institutions in the province organized extracurricular activities and experiences on the history and traditions of the army.

Students of An Tuong Secondary School (Tuyen Quang City) participate in extracurricular activities.

The schools organized propaganda and education on history in the form of dramatization, painting, visiting historical sites, watching documentaries, experiencing field trips, army meals, and organizing competitions to learn about the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army. Students also participated in activities to visit families of policy beneficiaries and wounded soldiers; clean up and offer incense at local martyrs' cemeteries, etc.

The activities aimed to review the glorious and heroic history of the Vietnam People's Army and the provincial armed forces. At the same time, they educated the revolutionary traditions for the younger generation, arousing love for the homeland, the country, and national pride.
