From the end of 2021, the Government has approved the program to Digitize cultural heritage with the goal of 100% of tangible, intangible cultural heritage and documentary heritage being registered by UNESCO; 100% of special national relics, 100% of national treasures and heritage in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List are digitized and applied on digital platforms. 100% of people working professionally in the Cultural Heritage industry are trained, retrained, and updated with digital transformation knowledge and skills.
Therefore, digitizing heritage is a suitable way to preserve and promote heritage, while contributing to promoting tourism development.
