Project helps build homes for poor households

TQO - Recently, the movement to build great solidarity houses for poor households in the province has received the attention and active participation of the entire political system and social community, helping poor households feel secure about their housing and have more motivation in their life.

According to data from the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in the 2-year plan (2022 and 2023), the Provincial Fatherland Front determined to support 2,857 households out of 3,820 poor households to renew and repair houses. However, during the implementation process, based on the actual situation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated and agreed with branches, units and districts and cities to add 2,606 households to the Project.

After 2 years of implementing the Project, the whole province has renewed and repaired houses for 4,519 poor households out of 2,857 households (new 3,934 households, repaired 585 households), reaching 158.1% of the plan; reaching 118.2% compared to the whole period of 2021 - 2025. Total mobilized funding is over VND568 billion; Of which the funding source for support under the Project is over VND228 billion, the support source from the community and family (converted into money) is nearly VND50 billion; The corresponding source of households is over VND290 billion.

Thanks to the drastic participation of all levels, branches, localities, agencies, units and the support and assistance of the social community, poor households have been able to have safe, spacious houses.
