The province’s leaders present certificates recognising the national intangible cultural heritage to the districts.
The event was held jointly by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Na Hang District People’s Committee.
Localities in the province have made efforts to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values. The recognition of the art of Red Dao people’s costume decoration as a national intangible cultural heritage has great significance in honouring the traditional cultural values of the ethnic minority groups.
Representatives from five districts affirmed that they would develop specific programmes to preserve and promote the heritage, contributing to the conservation of cultural values of ethnic minority groups in the province.
