Tourism is one of the bright spots of 2022 when attracting more than 2.28 million visitors to Tuyen Quang.
The year 2022 is of special significance, as the year of socio-economic recovery after the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic wave, creating the foundations for successful implementation of the goals of the 5-year plan 2021 - 2025.
Tourism is a bright spot in the province's socio-economic recovery efforts after a 2-year hiatus, halting many activities because of the Covid-19 epidemic. In 2022, the effort to restore and develop tourism will be implemented synchronously by the province and localities. Many major tourism activities were successfully organized, such as the Opening Ceremony of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year and the 1st International Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Ceremony of Receiving the Intangible Cultural Heritage Registration Ceremony of Then of Tay, Nung, and Thai people in Vietnam in the list of representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity and Thanh Tuyen Festival, etc. Thereby, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to Tuyen Quang Province.
2022 is also the year Tuyen Quang drastically accelerates the construction progress of key project, such as the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho highway project connects with the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway; urban development trunk road from Tuyen Quang city to Yen Son District town center, Xuan Van bridge, etc. The progress of disbursement of investment capital by mid-October reached over VND2.1 trillion.
After a year of drastic implementation of central and provincial solutions, many indicators are predicted to have impressive growth rates, such as the value of industrial production increasing by 16.6%; production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 4.8%; production value of service industries increased by 7.2%; afforestation achieved 114.3 % of the plan; attracting over 2.28 million tourists; State budget revenue reached over VND 2,784 billion, etc.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in 2022, the growth rate of gross domestic product (GRDP) increased by 8.63% compared to 2021. In which, the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector increased by 4.93 %, the industry and construction sector increased by 14.66%, the service sector increased by 7.09% and the product tax minus subsidies increased by 8.87%.
