Na Hang District possesses six products run by five establishments that have registered as OCOP products and completed the registration dossier for rating evaluation. The products participating in the OCOP Programme are all high potential products that have brought about practical economic effects to the locality.

In addition to agricultural products, OCOP Programme has also focused on developing rural tourism services. In particular, there are three communes in Lam Binh District including Khuon Ha, Lang Can, and Thuong Lam have selected homestay services as OCOP products. They are Mai Tuy Homestay in Khuon Ha Commune, Nam Dip Homestay in Lang Can Commune and Tai Ngao Homestay in Thuong Lam Commune.

There are many OCOP products in Tuyen Quang Province as well as typical farming methods, based on which local people can build “specialty” tours, such as a tour to the Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir bed in association with fishing activities and noodle making in Da Vi Commune and a tour to experience Hong Thai Commune in Na Hang District.

Developing OCOP products in conjunction with tourism is considered a new opportunity for local farmers to get rich in their own homeland while increasing the value of their local products.
