Vice Chairman of Sinh Long Commune People’s Committee Hoang Van Hao shared that, the youth star-up movement is a highlight in the economic development of the commune.
In the commune, a few young people have gone to work abroad in Taiwan and Japan to escape the poverty. Up to now, the commune has over 30 workers abroad for employment under contract, with the salaries ranging from VND25 million to VND 35 million per person per month.
In addition, though the vocational training classes, the youth in the commune have stable jobs with better income. Currently, the commune has about 10 successful youth start-up models such as a motorbike and agricultural machinery repair shop of Mr. Ban Van Tien, a carpentry workshop of Mr. Trieu Van Bach, a general economic model of Mr. Hoang Van Chung, a grocery store of Mr. Luong Van Truong, etc.
Although the number of these economic models is not too much, it has demonstrated the breakthrough in the thinking, working methods and desire to get rich of young people in Sinh Long commune.
