Vietnam mulls stricter penalties to drunk driving

TQO - From August 25, the Traffic Police Department coordinated with units to deploy 6 working groups to directly control and detect alcohol concentration violations across the country.

In the first 9 months of 2023, traffic police nationwide handled more than 550,000 cases of alcohol violations (accounting for more than 22% of total fines).

The seriousness, synchronous and drastic implementation in handling alcohol violations will contribute to creating a good culture for people while driving.
