New houses of poor households in village 20, Lang Quan commune (Yen Son).

The implementation of policies of the Party and State and of the province towards poor households, especially supporting poor households in housing, has been effectively implemented by village 20. In addition to the support from the State, from units, local authority has also mobilized people to contribute labor days to help poor households renew and repair houses. Therefore, it shows the spirit of solidarity and willingness to help each other get out of poverty effectively, helping the poverty rate in village 20 gradually decrease.

In the past 3 years, in the village, 12 poor households have been supported to repair and build new houses from various sources. During the implementation process, villages and communes mobilized forces such as militia, union members, and young people together contribute labor days and construction materials to support poor households to soon complete new houses according to the plan and schedule.

Currently, the village 20, Lang Quan commune has 85 households, most of them have a stable life, nearly 100% of households have televisions and motorbikes. From now to 2025, the village strives to reduce the rate of poor households to less than 10% according to the new poverty line.
