Job created for 17000 workers in first eight months

TQO - One of the important social-economic development tasks of Tuyen Quang Province is creating jobs for local workers, especially in the context of Covid-19 spreading in the community.

According to the Employment Service Centre of Tuyen Quang Province, there were 4,621 employees who submitted aplications for support under Government Resolution No.68 by the end of August 2021. Along with receiving applications, the centre has given career counselling and introduced new jobs to employees. To date, nearly 300 times of recruitment information has been posted and 10,301 workers in the province have introduced jobs and given vocational training counseling.

The representative of the Department of Labour - Invalid and Social Affairs in Tuyen Quang, Ly Thi Hai Hien added that the province generated jobs for more than 17,200 workers, reaching 82,1% of the plan in first eight months. Of those, there are 11,909 employees working in the locality, and 2,079 labours working in domestic companies and industrial zones, and 252 people working abroad. In particularly, over 3,000 local workers have returned to the companies in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces after a period of time off due to the pandemic.
