What made Bac Bling conquer the audience was the graceful integration of traditional cultural elements such as Dong Ho paintings, the tug of war festival in Huu Chap village, Lim festival, pottery village and some places including Dau pagoda, Ba Chua Kho temple, Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater. The singer also mentioned some customs of Vietnamese people in general such as betel chewing, black teeth dyeing, and the ceremony of returning home to worship ancestors.
Previously, Hoang Thuy Linh's MV De Mi noi cho ma nghe also caused a storm on the internet when the lyrics in which the character Mi expressed her desire for youth were inspired by the short story Vo chong A Phu (1952). Especially, "Tu phu" revolving around a unique culture that is being preserved in Vietnamese folk beliefs: Dao Mau by Hoang Thuy Linh's crew also brought a gentle and strange feeling to listeners.
The song "A Loi" by rapper Double2T (Bùi Xuân Trường) became a trend when the word "A Loi" quickly became one of the most mentioned phrases on social platforms. In particular, the TikTok platform has seen a whole trend of transforming and wearing ethnic minority costumes on the music of "A loi" with tens of millions of views.
