Provincial leaders work with leaders of RoK’s EGNC company

The meeting also saw the participation of heads of several provincial departments and sectors.

At the working session, Secretary Chau Van Lam who is also a member of the Party Central Committee and head of Tuyen Quang Delegation of National Assembly deputies introduced about the advantages of the forest and province which can ensure adequate supply of material for the RoK’s company to invest in building a wood pellet plant in the locality. He suggested that the company should work out solutions to effectively invest in the project while generating jobs for the locals and protecting the environment. The province authorities will create the best conditions for the company to implement the large project with long term planning in order to promote its economic efficiency.

Kwak Hee Joo affirmed that Tuyen Quang has an abundant supply of materials, thus, the company decided to research about investing in a large and long-term project in the province. The company, which specialises in producing wood pellets, can provide approximately 10,000 tonnes of wood pellets for thermal power plants in RoK. In the near future, the company will work with authorised agencies in the province to complete procedures on the establishment of the company in Tuyen Quang province.
