Chuc Ta Khien organised a fire dance team in Hong Thai Commune on the occasion of the pear blossom festival in 2022.

He shared that the fire dancing festival at the beginning of the year of the Red Dao people has passed down from generations to generations. Fire dance is held to please the gods, ancestors and pray for peace, good weather, bumper harvest, good health and happiness. For fire jumpers, this is a form of "bathing" to purify the body and soul. New Year's fire brings a lot of luck and happiness.

Currently, the shaman has established a strong fire dance team with many skilful dancers. Among them are Ban Tien Huong, 61 years old, Chuc Ta Thong 60 years old, even the head of Ban Luc Hamlet Chuc Can Nai is also a excellent dancer.

Ban Xuan Tho, a young man in the fire dance team, said that the elder Chuc Ta Khien was very enthusiastic about traditional culture. He maintained, restored and promoted the fire dancing ritual of the Red Dao people in Ban Luc Hamlet.

Khien hoped that, the fire dancing festival will become a unique tourism product of Da Vi Commune in the coming time.
