Two communes of Chiem Hoa District to merge with Lam Binh District

TQO - Two communes of Phuc Son and Minh Quang in Chiem Hoa District will be merged with Lam Binh District from July 1, 2021. With similarities, this will be an opportunity for the locality to develop sustainably in terms of politics, economy and society.

Minh Quang Commune (Chiem Hoa District) has nearly 500 hectares of peanuts, creating favorable conditions for the development of organic peanut production.

Phuc Son and Minh Quang communes of Chiem Hoa district are located on National Highway 279 and Provincial Road 188. After merging into Lam Binh District, two commune will be a part of a commune cluster which includes three communes of Hong Quang, Tho Binh and Binh An in Lam Binh District. This commune cluster with 5 communes has similarity in agricultural and forestry production, social culture, urban development and national defense and security.

The merger will create motivation to promote the general development of ethnic minority areas, gradually move towards building urban in grade V in the coming time.
