Some branded products including Phuc Ninh Pomelo (Yen Son District) and Ham Yen king oranges have been recognised as “Vietnam Golden Agricultural Brands” by the Vietnam General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development. As a result, these products are widely sold both inside and outside the province.
Tan Trao specialty rice (Son Duong District) is one of the most attractive products in the province.
The Tuyen Quang tea product is ranked 5th nationally in terms of farming area and output and the product has been exported to Eastern European countries, the US, Taiwan (China), and Japan with over 4,000 tonnes of dry tea.
Tuyen Quang is also one of the three provinces with the largest wood volume in the northern midland and mountainous region, accounting for over 23% of the region’s total volume. Wood products processed from planted forestry under FSC standards have conquered almost all European and North America markets.
Specialty fish products raised in the Tuyen Quang Hydropower lake bed, were listed in "Green addresses, clean agriculture" category by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2017.
Tuyen Quang province is currently implementing the "One Commune, One Product" programme in order to promote the brand development of local agricultural products.
