In 2019, Tuyen Quang Power Company invested in the building and supply of electricity for 47 projects with a total cost of over VND187.9 billion, including the installation of 168 new transformer stations, 90.6 km of medium voltage lines, and 98.3 km of low voltage line.

By the end of 2020, with the goal of connecting 26 hamlets to the national electricity grid, the provincial People's Committee has directed the relevant units to concentrate all resources and accelerate the projects’ progress in order to supply enough electricity to serve production and improve people’s living conditions as soon as possible. In particular, the Committee will also coordinate closely with authorities at all levels to enhance people's awareness on using electricity in a safe and economical manner.
The provincial Department of Industry and Trade is directing investors to speed up the construction of hydropower plants in Ham Yen and Yen Son districts and a rural electricity supply project from the national grid of Tuyen Quang province for 2013-2020 period, striving to complete it in May, 2020.
