Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented the decision to merge the Tuyen Quang Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station.

The conference was attended by comrades Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, and provincial leaders.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Executive Committee announced the decision to merge the Tuyen Quang Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station under the new name “Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio – Television Station”. The decisions take effect from June 5, 2025.

Mr. Mai Duc Thong - Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper - was transferred and assigned to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio – Television Station.

At the conference, Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the merger of the two agencies represents a sound and timely move aligned with the development trend of modern journalism, moving toward a multimedia communications model. It also reflects the Central Government’s policy of continuing to innovate and streamline the organizational apparatus for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

This merger marks an important milestone in the effort to streamline the province’s press system, ensuring it meets development needs in the digital transformation era and enhances the effectiveness of the province’s information and communications work.
