TQO - To build OCOP products to become a brand in the hearts of consumers, Tuyen Quang Province focuses on building OCOP associated with the product story.

Thanh Tra tea is one of 12 products that meet the province's 3-star OCOP standard in 2021.

Product story is the message that OCOP subjects want to convey to the community in order to change their emotions when buying products and services. It carries intangible value but can touch the emotions and hearts of consumers, then change customer behaviour. Each OCOP story contains the pride, imprint, and traditional values of each land.

In 2021, tea growers in Thon Cay Tea Village, Minh Thanh Commune (Son Duong) received joy when Thanh Tra tea products participated in OCOP product evaluation and achieved 3-star standards. In order to write a meaningful product story, Pham Van Minh, the leader of Cay village tea cooperative group told the story of his own unique tea production journey, conquering tourists from all over the country.

Phuc Ninh is the hometown of famous and delicious pomelo specialties. Phuc Ninh pomelo is also one of the 3-star OCOP products. With an area of ​​over 1,000 hectares for fruit, on average, Phuc Ninh pomelo growers earn over VND30 billion per year. To get that result is the efforts of farmers in developing specialty seedlings and the support of local authorities in creating favorable conditions for farmers. In particular, the product has been built a brand associated with an emotional beginning story.

To date, the Tuyen Quang Province has 128 products recognized as provincial OCOP products, of which 33 products with 4-star and 95 with 3-star. In 2022, the province strives to develop 51 new products with 3 stars, upgrade stars for 3 products to reach 5 stars at national level.
