Right from the end of the sixth lunar month, residential groups have begun to organise the designing process of models. With 18 years of experience in making Mid-Autumn lantern models, a facility owned by Pham Ngoc Toan in Phan Thiet ward’s residential group no. 34, has become a popular address for lantern orders, not only inside Tuyen Quang province but also among many cities and provinces throughout the country, including Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Ha Giang. Each stage of model making is carefully executed by Toan.

Each model carries its own message and meaning, reflecting the local residents’ unity, enthusiasm and wholeheartedness for children there. Along with many cultural and sports activities as part of the Thanh Tuyen Festival 2019, the Mid-Autumn lantern models will contribute to creating impression in the hearts of visitors.
