1. The province has basically completed thematic resolutions and projects to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th Provincial Party Congress's resolution in order to realise the goal of bringing Tuyen Quang to become a fairly, comprehensively and sustainably developed province in the northern mountainous region.
2. Socio-economic targets met and exceeded the set plan:
-The growth rate of gross domestic product (GRDP) reached 5.67%, ranking 4th in the northern mountainous provinces and 26th in the whole country.
-In the context of safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic, industries, agriculture, forestry and fishery have all grown.
-Total budget revenue in the area reached VND2,476 billion
-Creating jobs for 21,000 workers
-The poverty rate decreased from 9.03% to 6.6%...
3. Prime Minister (now President) Nguyen Xuan Phuc launched the program to plant 1 billion trees for a green Vietnam and respond to the New Year of Tan Suu spring tree planting.
4. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with key leaders of the province on socio-economic development results, national defense and security, Party building work, political system in 2021, orientation and tasks in 2022.
5. Successfully held the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
Voter turnout rate reached 99.81%, many communes and regions had 100% voter turnout rate. Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue directly visited, inspected and directed the election work in the province.
6. Receive the Third Class Independence Medal awarded by the President on the occasion of the 190th Anniversary of the establishment of the province.
Standing Committee of the Secretariat Vo Van Thuong visited and attended the celebration. He affirmed that the great achievements that the Party Committee and people of Tuyen Quang ethnic groups have achieved are very proud, making an important contribution to the overall victory of the struggle for national independence, national construction and defense.
7.Deployment of many important works and projects:
- Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway connects with Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.
- Urban trunk road from Tuyen Quang city to the center of Yen Son district.
- Project on concreting rural roads and building bridges on rural roads.
- Completing the project of 2 roads along both banks of the Lo River in the city.
8.Tuyen Quang city was recognised a II-grade urban center directly under the province by the Prime Minister, and completed the task of building a new rural area.
Adjust administrative boundaries of 2 districts Chiem Hoa and Lam Binh and establish Lang Can town in Lam Binh district; adjusting the administrative boundaries of Thang Quan, Lang Quan and Tu Quan communes to establish Yen Son town in Yen Son district according to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
9.Organising effective prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic:
Vaccine coverage and cure rates are very high. The province actively supported Ho Chi Minh city and the southern provinces, Hanoi and the provinces of Ha Giang, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh in terms of human, material and financial resources to organise effective anti-epidemic and share difficulties with the whole country. The province isolated nearly 2,000 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad safely and thoughtfully.
10.The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many important results:
- Strongly renovate the Party's leadership method according to the guideline towards grassroots. The leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party's grassroots organisations, and the quality of the cell's activities have been improved.
-The "three together" movement creates a closer bond between civil servants, public employees and people at the grassroots
-The assignment of breakthrough tasks to the heads of agencies and units initially achieved good results; cadres and party members are more active in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style
