Deputy Chief of Police of Hung Loi Commune (Yen Son) Tran Huy Hieu is always close to the villagers.
Tran Huy Hieu was born in 1990. He graduated People's Security University. He received his job at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police. In 2020, Hieu was rotated and appointed as Deputy Chief of Hung Loi Commune Police, Yen Son District Police.
Hieu shared that Hung Loi has 97% ethnic minorities, in which, the Mong ethnic group accounts for the highest proportion with 45%. The commune currently has 8 villages where the Mong people believe in illegal organizations. Firmly grasping the situation, Hieu and his teammates has kept a close eye on the area to maintain local security and order.
"To mobilize people, I have to be an example to do first. As a result, local people see clearly the benefits, then they will believe and follow me. Especially, I always have to be close to each person to promptly grasp their difficulties and find ways to solve them”, Hieu said.
With sincerity, Hieu always considers people in the locality as relatives. He sympathizes, shares and wholeheartedly helps them. Hieu spends part of his salary to buy sweets for children or buy tobacco, noodles, sugar, and milk for the elderly. During the harvest season, he and farmers went down to the fields to harvest rice. He takes advantage of any time, any place, any age, to communicate, mobilize, explain, persuade people to do right things.
Recently, Hieu was honored to be awarded a certificate of merit by the Steering Committee of the Emulation Movement "Skillful Mass mobilization" of the province for his achievements in the Emulation Movement of "Skillful Mass mobilization" in the 2020-2022 period.
