From 1991 to 2022, the province's gross product increased 80 times; GRDP per capita increased 61 times; budget revenue increased 30 times; industrial production value increased over 223 times.

The growth rate of GRDP in the first 6 months of 2023 increased by 7.55%; ranked 13th in the country, 2nd among 14 Northern midland and mountainous provinces and 1st in 11 Northern mountainous provinces. In which, the agriculture and forestry sector increased by 4.64%; the industrial sector increased by 10.87%; service sector increased by 7.35%.

Industry, construction and services continue to be the three main contributors to the province's GRDP growth, proving that Tuyen Quang's economic structure has shifted in the right direction and restructured the economy.

The implementation and construction of many works and projects are important to the development of the province such as Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho highway; Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway; the urban development trunk road from Tuyen Quang city to the center of Yen Son district; The project of concreting rural roads and building bridges on rural roads, etc.
