TQO - The current state of food safety is one of the most painful issues that need attention, especially during festivals where many people gather. Every individual faces risks to their health and even their life due to unsafe food.

In fact, the work of ensuring food safety has not been thoroughly handled. Illegal processing, production, and trading are increasingly sophisticated and have more serious impacts. The number of food poisoning cases or the number of people infected with food poisoning is still quite high.

The Prime Minister has approved the National Food Safety Strategy for the period 2011 - 2020 and vision to 2030. Accordingly, synchronization from three solution sides is needed: Mechanism - policy; Socioeconomic ; Science and technology as well as action from: the State, producers and consumers.

Many countries around the world have very strict regulations on food safety and biosecurity. They are not only strict domestically, but all foods brought from abroad must be declared, otherwise they will be heavily fined.

Therefore, we cannot just expect consumers to be wise as the slogans often exhort, but we also need to uphold the rule of law. Any violation must be severely punished.

We cannot rely only on the ethics of food manufacturers or traders, but it is necessary to overcome the overlapping situation; shifting responsibility reduces the effectiveness of state management of food safety.

Along with that, it is necessary to have consistent and regular supervision not only by the authorities but also by the entire people in this field.
