Right person, right address

TQO - Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (yagi), some localities in the province were flooded, making transportation difficult. In that situation, many individuals and volunteer organizations inside and outside the province provided both spiritual and material support to the people in the flooded areas, ensuring that no one was left behind.

The provincial Farmers' Association officials distributed goods to the addresses in need of relief.

Mr. Le Ngoc Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said that in order to promptly provide relief to people in disaster-stricken areas, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has directed the Fatherland Fronts of districts, cities, and grassroots Fatherland Fronts to grasp the situation of the people in order to work with the government to support and ensure people's lives when natural disasters and incidents occur, especially for households in difficult circumstances.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has issued an open letter calling on agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to support the people in overcoming difficulties, overcoming damage, and stabilizing their lives soon.

In the past 2 days, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has presided over and coordinated with the Red Cross Society, the Provincial Farmers' Association, and the Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities to promptly receive and distribute relief goods to the most difficult places, places lacking food, ensuring that relief goods reach the right people and the right addresses.

For isolated areas where traffic is not available, the Fatherland Front at all levels has coordinated with the authorities at the same level to arrange boats and rafts to deliver drinking water and necessities to each household isolated by floodwaters.

According to the leader of the Provincial Fatherland Front, in order for relief shipments to reach the right people and the right localities in need, philanthropists participating in relief activities need to conduct surveys before mobilizing support, need to grasp information about people's needs through local Party committees and authorities or directly from the people, see what they need and lack, and help exactly what people are lacking and need.

Everyone should go through the channel of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, cities and the Red Cross Associations at all levels to coordinate support and relief resources reasonably, avoiding the situation where relief is concentrated in one place, making management difficult, while many other places are lacking.

Currently, people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods in the province are still in great need of attention, help, support and sharing from all levels, sectors and the whole society in terms of spirit, material, support in money, necessities, and working days.

The provincial Fatherland Front hopes for all help and support from benefactors and donors through the Fatherland Front at all levels, organizations and local authorities so that relief work can be coordinated reasonably and facilitate management, ensuring effective use of support resources for the people.
