New houses for H’mong people in Xuan Lap

TQO - Implementing the Project to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households in the province in the period 2021-2025, Xuan Lap commune, Lam Binh district has organized a review and implementation of support solutions in renovating and repairing houses for poor households.

Lam Binh District Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center organizes rattan and bamboo vocational training classes for people in the district.

According to statistics from the People's Committee of Xuan Lap commune, since 2022, the entire commune has repaired and renovated 81 houses for poor households (including 53 households of the H’mong ethnic group).

Comrade Giang Xuan Dinh, Chairman of Xuan Lap Commune People's Committee, said that despite difficulties, with great determination, we try to effectively implement the elimination of temporary housing and dilapidated housing for poor households according to the direction of the Government. The province and commune have effectively implemented the Party and State's policies towards poor households.

The results achieved in the work of eliminating temporary housing and dilapidated houses for poor households have helped Xuan Lap commune gradually complete the criteria for building new rural areas, and the quality of people's lives has gradually improved. By 2023, the entire commune reduced 42 poor households, the rate of people using hygienic water reached over 90%, the rate of people using safe electricity was than 95%, etc.
