Managing transport activities during Tet

TQO - In order to ensure people's travel needs are convenient and safe during Tet, the competent forces will strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations in the field of passenger and cargo transport.

Tuyen Quang province currently has over 55 passenger transport units with over 650 vehicles. To better serve people's travel needs during Tet, units also actively implement conditions to ensure safe, civilized and thoughtful passenger transportation.

Inspectors of the Department of Transport and Traffic Police have increased patrols of passenger transport activities at bus station areas in Tuyen Quang City and districts such as ensuring traffic safety on traffic routes, promptly detecting and handling violations of passenger transport, carrying more than the prescribed number of people, speeding and transporting prohibited goods, etc.

The Traffic Police force in the province also increased patrols, control, and strictly handled violations of road and waterway traffic safety regulations; Proactively prevent illegal racing, gatherings that disrupt public order, and resolutely suppress all acts against people on duty.

At the same time, the Traffic Police force increased inspection of the implementation of legal regulations on ensuring security and safety at tourist wharves and on complex waterways and routes; Proactively develop plans and strategies, strengthen forces to organize and regulate traffic flow appropriately to ensure safety for people.

The Department of Transport strengthens the direction of road and inland waterway transport business units in the province to strictly implement regulations in transport business activities; proactively develop plans to arrange backup vehicles for reinforcement on peak days; Prepare vehicles and drivers ready to clear passengers to ensure convenient and safe travel for people, pupils and students; Do not let passengers delay returning home to celebrate Tet due to lack of transportation.
