The emulation movement was implemented from April 2024 and summarized at the end of 2025.
At the launching ceremony, the Prime Minister set a goal of mobilizing the construction and repair of 170,000 houses for poor and near-poor households nationwide from now until the end of 2025.
To realize the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, on July 16, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 656/QD-TTg to establish the National Fund to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.
Accordingly, the fund will receive, manage, and use funding sources, support, and voluntary contributions in cash from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals and other legal sources of capital to support and fund the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households that have not received support from the state budget according to the law.
The Prime Minister's signing of the Decision to establish a National Fund to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households has a profound and noble humanitarian meaning that has received positive response and support from organizations, individuals, businesses, and the whole society.
With the spirit of "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", together with the participation of the entire political system, the joint efforts of the community and society, it will contribute to completing the task of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025.
