Previously, he studied at faculty of silviculture in Xuan Mai Forestry University, Hanoi. After graduating, he worked at Nguyen Van Troi Forestry Enterprise (now Nguyen Van Troi Forestry Joint Stock Company) in Yen Son District. He devoted all his capabilities to this field.

During his retirement, he decided to open Bao Trung Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd. to receive projects of urban planning, design, and tree planting with the expectation of creating green living space for urban areas. At the age of 70, he is a leader of an enterprise with nearly 100 employees, but he still plant each tree by himself. He said that the value of green trees is immeasurable, especially in improving air quality by absorbing toxins such as NO2, CO2, CO, etc.

He traveled from the country’s north down to its southern to explore and learn to grow precious trees for urban decoration.  Currently, there have been many famous projects of Tuyen Quang Province that he designed and planted green trees such as Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Tuyen Quang City), provincial convention center of Tuyen Quang, and historical relic campuses of the province.

In addition, he also invested in building a 5-hectare botanical garden in Group 11, An Tuong Ward (Tuyen Quang City), a place where young people can take pictures, check-in, class meetings amidst the natural scenery.

This botanical garden was designed and constructed by himself in 3 years with 4 functional areas, including urban green tree area, botanical area, service area and technical infrastructure area. The garden has initially attracted tourists to visit and experience.

With his love for trees and nature, he wishes to make a small contribution to create a green space for the city and join hands to realise the goal of developing Tuyen Quang tourism more and more attractive and friendly.
